Frequently asked questions.
How does the 7-day free trial work?
Sign up and get full access immediately; no credit card needed. The plan you pick just sets your post-trial pricing; trial features and limits are the same on every tier, and you can change plans anytime. You can cancel any time before day 7 and you won't be charged. After day 7, pick a plan to continue — you're only charged once you subscribe.
What do the ASIN limits mean?
Your plan's ASIN count is the number of distinct products you can audit and track per billing period. Re-running an audit on the same ASIN doesn't use a new slot, and audit and tracking quotas are separate: a Lite plan can audit up to 20 ASINs and track up to 20 ASINs.
What is an ads audit and how many do I get?
One ads audit analyzes your whole Sponsored Products account from a bulk file you export in the ads console (wasted spend, high-ACOS bids, negative-keyword candidates) and generates a ready-to-upload change file. Plans include 4 (Lite), 10 (Growth), 20 (Pro), or 40 (Scale) ads audits per billing period; no ad account connection is required.
What is a search query audit and how many do I get?
One search query audit analyzes a Search Query Performance report you export from Brand Analytics (requires Brand Registry): your share of impressions, clicks, cart adds, and purchases per query, with every funnel gap classified and an action list. Plans include 4 (Lite), 10 (Growth), 20 (Pro), or 40 (Scale) search query audits per billing period; no account connection is required.
What is a profit report and how many do I get?
One profit report analyzes a date range transaction report you export from Payments → Reports Repository: a full P&L, account-level and per SKU, with true net profit once you enter product costs (saved and reused, never consuming quota). Plans include 4 (Lite), 10 (Growth), 20 (Pro), or 40 (Scale) profit reports per billing period; no account connection is required.
How do the tracked-keyword and monitored-ASIN caps work?
They're concurrent caps, not per-period quotas: 20 (Lite), 50 (Growth), 100 (Pro), or 250 (Scale) keywords tracked and, separately, the same number of ASINs monitored at once. Each item is scanned when you add it and every Monday. Deleting a keyword or ASIN frees the slot immediately. On Pro and above, monitored ASINs are also checked daily at 6 AM ET (Scale adds a 6 PM ET check); keyword scans stay weekly.
What is the Listing Generator quota?
Each plan includes a per-period quota for AI listing drafts: 2/5/10/20 for Lite/Growth/Pro/Scale. Higher plans also benchmark more competitor listings per draft.
Do plans include the newer tools (Niche Radar, Returns & Restock, Inventory Planner, Image Audit, AI Intent Audit, Reverse ASIN)?
Yes, every plan includes all of them. Niche analyses, Returns & Restock runs, inventory plans, image audits, and AI intent audits follow the same per-period quotas as ads audits (4/10/20/40 for Lite/Growth/Pro/Scale). Reverse ASIN lookups are lighter, so quotas are looser: 10/25/50/100 per period. The Keyword Hub and Campaign Builder have no quota at all; they're included with every plan and the free trial.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. If you need more ASINs mid-period, you can upgrade at any time from your dashboard and we prorate the difference.
How does annual billing work?
Annual plans are billed once per year at 10× the monthly price, effectively 2 months free.
Can my team or agency share an account?
Yes. Pro includes 3 team seats, Scale includes 5, and Enterprise seats are custom. Each teammate signs in with their own login as an admin (can run analyses and approve changes) or a viewer (read-only) — every approval is recorded under the person who made it. Agencies work the same way in reverse: your clients each keep their own Optimal account and invite you into their workspaces, and you switch between them from the top bar.
What is AMC Insights and which plans include it?
AMC Insights runs nine shopper-level analyses inside your own Amazon Marketing Cloud instance — who is buying (new-to-brand orders vs repeat orders, gateway ASINs, customer acquisition cost), how much a shopper spends over six months and how long they take to buy, and where the money is going nowhere (wasted reach with one-approval negative keywords, exposure frequency, and overlap across ad products and ASINs). Pro accounts get an automatic run every Monday with shifts delivered by email. It requires a connected Amazon Ads account and a (free, self-serve) AMC instance, and is included on Pro, Scale and Enterprise plans with no per-run limit.
What's included in Enterprise?
Everything in Scale with no ASIN cap, plus an optional done-for-you service where our team applies the fixes for you. Contact us for a quote.
