Short version: Sellerboard is a profit-first tool and it is cheap: $19 to $79 a month. If profit is the only job, few alternatives beat its price. Sellers look elsewhere for a different job: a second opinion on profit, a wider suite, or help with the listing and the ads that sit behind a weak margin. OptimalCentral builds a per-SKU profit report from Amazon's own transaction records, then audits the ads, the inventory and the missed reimbursements. On the Brand plan, with your account connected, its agent, Ossy, acts under the permissions you grant. Prices below come from each vendor's own site, read on October 20, 2026.

Quick answer — Sellerboard alternatives by job
  1. Profit analytics, same job — SellerLegend: $49.99 to $99.99 a month, free trial of 21 days.
  2. Profit inside a wider suite — Helium 10: limited profit reporting on Platinum, profit and loss reporting on Diamond.
  3. Profit plus ads, inventory and reimbursement diagnostics — OptimalCentral: from $99/mo, 14-day trial, no credit card.

“Sellerboard” is searched far more often than “Sellerboard alternatives.” Most readers here are comparing profit tools, not leaving one. This page lists what each tool costs and does, with the date we checked. Where a vendor's page does not say something, we say so. We left out any vendor whose pricing page we could not read. Prices change often, so confirm the current number before you pay.

What Sellerboard does and costs (checked October 20, 2026)

Per the pricing section on sellerboard.com:

  • Standard — $19/mo billed monthly, $15/mo billed annually ($179/yr). Up to 3,000 orders a month.
  • Professional — $29/mo, or $279/yr. Up to 6,000 orders a month.
  • Business — $39/mo, or $369/yr. Up to 15,000 orders a month.
  • Enterprise — $79/mo, or $759/yr. Up to 50,000 orders a month. A “need more” option sits beyond that.
  • Trial — 1 month free, no credit card, plus a demo account without registration.

The feature list on the same site covers a profit dashboard (overview, cost breakdown and product-level views of sales, refunds, ads, fees, COGS and profit), tracking of more than 100 Amazon fee types, several COGS methods (FIFO, constant, batch, period-based and marketplace-specific), PPC analytics with bid automation by target profitability or ACOS, a repricer, inventory management with stock-out estimates and purchase order planning, review-request emails, refund finding for lost inventory, listing change alerts, and role-based user access. Features differ by plan in at least one row: user access rights appear to be left out of Standard. Check the live plan table before you buy.

That is a broad list for the price. Sellerboard is a fair default for profit and order-level analytics. The rest of this page covers where sellers add or swap tools.

Why sellers compare Sellerboard with other tools

  • The job moved from “what did I earn” to “why is this SKU weak.” A profit number points at a problem. It does not diagnose a listing or an Ads account.
  • Order limits. Plans cap monthly orders from 3,000 to 50,000. High-volume sellers price the next tier.
  • One suite instead of several tools. Some sellers want keyword research, rank tracking and profit under one login.
  • Reimbursement and inventory in one place. Both link back to profit, because lost units and stockouts hit margin.

SellerLegend's plan moves up or down on its own: its page says plans adjust automatically based on your average order volume from the previous two months, and going over a limit does not interrupt service. It lists the same features on every plan, including profit dashboard, PPC analytics, inventory management, restock forecasting and refund and reimbursement tracking. The page we read showed monthly prices only.

Helium 10's pricing page groups plans by yearly sales: Platinum for $0 to $100K, Diamond for $100K to $10M, Enterprise above $10M. It lists inventory management for 40 SKUs on Platinum and 500 SKUs on Diamond. For the rest of that suite, read our Helium 10 alternatives comparison. Match the tool to the job

Job 1: Profit

Sellerboard and SellerLegend are built around this job. Going by Sellerboard's own site, it offers more cost-accounting detail than OptimalCentral does: it lists FIFO and batch COGS. We have not tested its costing. OptimalCentral takes one per-unit product cost per SKU per marketplace, entered once and reused. Without a cost, a SKU shows proceeds after Amazon fees, not net profit.

What OptimalCentral's Profit Dashboard does: you connect your seller account, pick a window of 30 to 365 days and press Sync from Amazon. It returns a P&L (revenue, refunds, selling and FBA fees, storage, Ads charges, subscriptions, reimbursements) and a per-SKU table with units, revenue, fees, refund rate and cash result. An AI diagnosis flags fee-heavy, refund-heavy and cash-negative SKUs. Limits you should know:

  • Ads cost is the advertising charge deducted from your Amazon balance. Ads paid by credit card are not included.
  • Per-SKU Ads spend appears on the Brand plan with an Ads account connected.
  • Reports are quota-limited: 10 (Pro), 30 (Brand) or 100 (Enterprise) per billing period. Editing costs does not use quota.
  • The nightly P&L sync is a Brand-plan feature. On Pro you sync on demand.
  • It only reads transactions. It does not change your account.

Job 2: PPC

Sellerboard lists PPC analytics and bid automation. SellerLegend lists PPC analytics. OptimalCentral's Ads Audit reads the last 30 days of finished attribution and lists wasted spend, high-ACOS targets with a new bid at your target ACOS, and negative-keyword candidates. You approve changes item by item. Applying them from the page is a Brand-plan feature. On any plan you can download a change file. Our PPC audit checklist shows the same checks by hand.

Job 3: Inventory and restock

Sellerboard lists stock-out estimates and purchase order planning. SellerLegend lists restock forecasting. OptimalCentral's Inventory Planner reads your FBA inventory report and returns days of cover, a suggested reorder quantity that covers your lead time plus target cover, aged-stock fees and liquidation calls. Returns & Restock adds return reasons and rates per ASIN. For the method, see our guide to Amazon inventory management.

Job 4: Reimbursements

All four tools in the table touch this job, with different fee terms. OptimalCentral's Reimbursement Finder sweeps your Inventory Ledger, refunds and payout history weekly. It covers six leak types: lost or damaged and never paid, refunded and never returned, payouts below your cost, wrong size tier, shipped but never received, and short removals. It hands you ready-to-file case text. You file the case. The fee is 10% of what Amazon actually pays on claims you marked as filed. Amazon sets the filing windows, so the sweep tracks them. Read what Amazon owes you and how to claim it.

How to choose: a short checklist

  • ☐ Only need profit and order analytics at the lowest price? Start with Sellerboard or SellerLegend and use their free trials. Compare the plan that fits your monthly orders.
  • ☐ Need FIFO or batch COGS? Check that the tool supports the costing method before you pay. OptimalCentral does not.
  • ☐ Profit is low on a few SKUs and you do not know why? Use the per-SKU view to find them, then run the AI Listing Audit and the Ads Audit on those ASINs.
  • ☐ Want keyword research and rank tracking too? Compare suite prices. Our best Amazon SEO tools roundup covers that group.
  • ☐ Ads paid by credit card? A tool that reads Amazon's balance deductions will miss them. Ask each vendor how it gets Ads cost.
  • ☐ Free calculators first? The ACOS calculator needs no signup. More free tools are at /tools.
Worked example — one year, one seller account, billed annually where offered

Using the prices on each vendor's own site:

  • Sellerboard Standard: $179 a year (up to 3,000 orders a month).
  • SellerLegend Starter: $49.99 × 12 = $599.88 a year (monthly price only on its page; up to 2,500 orders a month).
  • Helium 10 Platinum: $99 × 12 = $1,188 a year, with limited profit reporting.
  • OptimalCentral Pro: $99 × 10 = $990 a year on annual billing.

The profit tools cost a fraction of the suites. The plans cover different jobs. Compare the price of each job you will use weekly, not the cheapest card.

Where OptimalCentral fits

OptimalCentral is the operating system for your Amazon business: a profit dashboard, ads and listing audits, inventory and returns planning, and a reimbursement finder under one subscription from $99/mo. It is not a cost-accounting engine and it does not replace Sellerboard's COGS methods. It is the tool you open after the profit number shows a problem. On Pro, Ossy audits and you act. On the Brand plan, with your account connected, Ossy runs around the clock under the permissions you grant. Anything that moves money, such as bids, budgets or campaign state, waits for your approval item by item.

Many sellers will use both: a low-cost profit tracker, and OptimalCentral for the diagnosis. For per-SKU profit from first principles, read how to see per-SKU profit after fees, ads and returns.

Frequently asked questions

What are the best Sellerboard alternatives for Amazon sellers?

SellerLegend is the closest profit-analytics rival, with a 21 day trial and plans from $49.99/mo. Helium 10 is a wider suite that lists profit reporting. OptimalCentral builds a per-SKU profit report from Amazon's transaction records and adds ads, inventory and reimbursement diagnostics from $99/mo. Pick an alternative for a specific gap, not for price: Sellerboard is hard to beat on cost.

How much does Sellerboard cost in 2026?

As of October 20, 2026, Sellerboard lists Standard at $19/mo ($179/yr), Professional at $29/mo ($279/yr), Business at $39/mo ($369/yr) and Enterprise at $79/mo ($759/yr). Order limits run from 3,000 to 50,000 a month. A 1-month free trial needs no credit card.

Is there a free alternative to Sellerboard?

Not for ongoing use. Free trials cover a test period: Sellerboard offers 1 month, SellerLegend 21 days, OptimalCentral 14 days with one full profit report. Amazon's own Seller Central reports are free but return raw transactions, not per-SKU profit with your product costs.

Sellerboard vs Helium 10: which is better for profit tracking?

If profit is the only job, Sellerboard costs far less: $19 to $79 a month against $129 for Helium 10 Platinum, which lists limited profit reporting. Helium 10's Diamond plan lists profit and loss reporting at $359 a month. Helium 10 adds keyword and listing tools. Choose by the jobs you need.

Does Sellerboard find FBA reimbursements?

Yes. Sellerboard's feature list includes refunds for lost inventory: it finds FBA errors and identifies reimbursement cases. SellerLegend lists refund and reimbursement tracking. Helium 10 lists a managed refund service with a 15% fee on Platinum and 10% on Diamond. OptimalCentral takes 10% only on what Amazon pays on claims you mark as filed.

Can a profit tool replace an ads or listing audit?

No. A profit tool shows what each SKU earns. It does not say why a listing converts poorly or which keywords waste spend. Find the weak SKUs in the profit view, then audit their listing and ads.
