What moves the fee
Each slice of the price takes its own rate. Raising the price never raises the rate on the slices below.
- Above $100.00 the extra dollars pay 15%. At $200.00 the fee is $35.00: 17.5% effective.
- Above $1,000.00 the extra dollars pay 10%. At $2,000.00 the fee is $255.00: 12.8% effective.
- Above $5,000.00 the extra dollars pay 5%. At $10,000.00 the fee is $805.00: 8.1% effective.
Below $5.00 the $1.00 minimum is the fee. At $2.50 that is 40.0% of the price.
