Negative Review Violation Check
Paste a negative review from one of your Amazon listings and find out whether it breaks Amazon policy. Being negative isn't a violation: it's reviews that break the policy that can be reported. If a review is honest, however harsh, we'll tell you so. If it does break the policy, sign up and connect your Amazon account, and we'll show you how to report it, with a written report ready to paste.
Get the report, ready to submit
Start a free trial and connect your Amazon account. For this review you get:
- which reason to choose in Amazon's Report popup,
- a written report to paste into Brand Registry, if your brand is enrolled and the review is still up later,
- a list of the reviews you reported that asks you to look again after 14 days.
This check carries over if you sign up in this browser within 24 hours, and doesn't use any of your trial's review checks.

A review that breaks Amazon policy in any of these ways can be reported:
- Only about the seller, the order, or shipping
- Pricing or availability for one buyer
- Private information
- External links
- Promotion or a conflict of interest
- Profanity, harassment, or hate speech
- Sexual content, illegal activity, or medical claims
- Spam and unsupported languages
- Plagiarism or impersonation
Amazon reviews each report and decides what to do. Nobody outside Amazon can guarantee a review comes down, and a service that promises it is promising something it doesn't control.
Frequently asked questions
Will Amazon remove a review just because it is negative?
No. Amazon policy allows honest positive and negative experiences with a product. Reviews that break the policy are the ones that can be reported and removed.
Does this tool report the review for me?
No. You submit every report yourself, and Amazon decides what happens next.
What happens to the review I paste?
We don't store the review text. If it can be reported, we keep the result, a fingerprint of the text so we can recognize it after you sign up, and the report we prepared, which can quote the review, for 24 hours, then delete them. The text itself stays in your browser for the pickup. See our privacy policy.
Why do I need to connect my Amazon account to get the report?
We only prepare reports for reviews on products you sell. Connecting lets us confirm the ASIN is yours, so the tool can't be used against other sellers' reviews. The tool never reports, posts, or contacts anyone for you.
